Ottawa/Outaouais Biathlon - End of Training day

Le centre de biathlon doit poursuivre une tradition de bonne collaboration. Voici comment chacun doit participer

Send your intent to participate and the number of cadets that will be present.   please respond to the following email address as well.  t.hurley@xplornet.ca It would be appreciated if a response could be received no later than Thursday evening so I have it Friday morning.

Range - practice november 7th

The Range will not be open for shooting this week until at the earliest 1000hrs. The rifles need to be zeroed properly before they are used. Some got zeroed last week, but not all of them. Also only paper targets will be permitted to be used this weekend until we get paint and the cadets know how to shoot better.  If we have to do a paper change half way through we will do that. Bullets will also be rationed this weekend according to the number of cadets you have present. We have to make sure we have enough for the season

Défi Jean-Philippe Le Guellec

Bonjour à tous,

Consulter le déroulement de toutes les étapes du défi et faites l'essaie avec les cadets .

Pour obtenir les ‘’coins’’au Défi Jean-Philippe Le Guellec je dois obtenir le formulaire pour chaque cadet qui aura réussi le défi..

Les COINS seront envoyés directement au CC après avoir reçu le formulaire. Les cadets ne sont pas obligés de faire toutes les étapes du niveau dans une seule soirée. 

Le niveau peut être fait avec la carabine laser également pour ceux qui pourront les utiliser.

Voici un commentaire concernant les cadets qui ont fait le défi au camp Fortune : Ils adorent le défi et la majorité d’entre eux veulent l’implante dans leur CC/Esc. C’est donc une très bonne nouvelle !

Je vous encourage donc à transmettre l’information aux cadets de vos unités afin de les encourager à faire ce défi.

RANGE CLEANUP DAY

This is a friendly reminder that the Range cleanup day is fast approaching on Saturday Oct. 17, 2015 from 900 hrs to 1400hrs. Maximum participation is required for it to be a successful day. The date was sent earlier in the summer to give everyone a chance to put it in your cadet calendar. I realize a couple units are on Bush Weekend and will not be able to attend but I can't remember who you are. It is encouraged to get as many cadets, parents and coaches out for this activity.

Range Clean Up Day: Saturday Oct. 17, 2015 900 hrs to 1400hrs
Who: All cadet biathlon sqn/corps, coaches and their parents from the Outouais Region planning on participating in biathlon for the 2015/16 season
What: Range Clean up Day
Where: Chelsea Biathlon Range - Camp Fortune Quebec
When: 900 hrs - 1400 hrs
Meeting Location: Range
Why: to support Chelsea Nordiq with trail clearing and maintenance of the Region Biathlon Range
Required Equipment:
-Work cloths and gloves (plan to get dirty)
-Heavy Duty weed whackers, cutters, loppers, chain saws (This is where parents will be required) to operate the equipment, the cadets will be the manual labor.
-Bring a lunch and water bottles
NOTE: DO NOT DRIVE UP TO CHALET des ERABLES, The parking up at Chalet des Erables is for the paying public visiting the zip line business.
HAVE YOUR CADETS DROPPED OFF AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL and WALK UP TO THE RANGE.
We do not have use of the Chalet except for the use of the restrooms. Plan to be outside for the time you are available.

Ski & Bike Swap 2015

It's that time of year again when we start organising our gear in preparation for the ski season ahead. The annual Ski Swap is the perfect event to help with getting the gear you need and selling the old gear you don't want.

What you need to know is that the date and location have been set:

AT CAMP FORTUNE MAIN LODGE, 300 chemin Dunlop, Chelsea, Quebec

Clinique des officiels

Nous sommes à la recherche de gens intéressé a être qualifié comme officiel avancé de biathlon. Si le nombres d’intéressé est suffisant, la formation aura Iieu à Valcartier les 14 et 15 nov 2015. Des soldes sont disponible en quantité limité pour le personnel sous contrat (CIC ou IC) dont la formation bénéficiera au bon fonctionnement des sites de biathlon de la région de l’Est.

Pour les personnes possédant déjà la qualification d’officiel avancé, un cour de chef est également prévu.
